Year 1 & Year 2

8th March, 2016
Caernarfon Castle

Year 1 and 2 had a fantastic day in Caernarfon Castle. The class had been learning about the traditional Welsh tale of 'Beddgelert' and the children decided it would be lovely to see a castle.
We did lots of exploring and finding clues for different parts of the castle.
We went through tunnels, up and down spiral staircases and over ramparts. We decided life in a castle would be hard work.

December, 2015

Year 1 and 2 have been preparing for Christmas. There's nothing like a Santa's grotto to get you in the festive mood;
and look how wonderful they look in their costumes ready for the production of,"It's a Nativity".November, 2015

Year 1 & 2 are learning all about chocolate. We have been learning about where it comes from, and how we use cocoa beans.
We went to Tesco's store to see what products contain coca beans.
We tasted chocolate and cheese, chocolate with fruit and chocolate donuts; they were delicious! We looked for Fair-trade chocolate and drew pictures of our favourite chocolates.
We even saw chocolate shower gel and body lotion it smelt good enough to eat!
It was a really interesting morning and we would like to thank Ms Kitching for all her help and hard work in making it so much fun.

Year 1 and 2 pupils have been working on the topic 'Bears'. they wanted to create their own bears so Mrs Jones, a friend of the school, came to help them. We had lots of fun!

We even went outside to create bears using lots of resources from the P.E. cupboard. We did a great job.
