'The children, from Reception up to Year 6 took park in a 'Fitness Day'.The day was run by A-life and brought the Science, PE and PSHE curriculum to life through a fun packed day.In the morning the children took part in 'Hands on Healthy' workshops and in the afternoon had 'Fun Fitness' sessions. The day was organised by 'A-Life' and financed, by the Local Authority as part of the 'Healthy Schools Programme.'The children took home details of an on line '7 Day Healthy Challenge' to follow up on the messages that had been promoted during the day.All involved had a great day and were exhausted by the end of their fitness sessions!'Their massage is 'Get healthy. On Friday 13th of November St. Mary's Netball team attended The Anglesey Primary Schools Netball Tournament. The team went to the tournament with hopes of defending last years title and they did just that, bringing the Trophy back for another year. Da iawn chi!
Children In Need
We asked the children to dress a teddy as their super hero and the children were also invited to come in fancy dress. These are some of the results.We raised £200 in all for children in need. £72 of this was raised by Skye Williams who made and sold Pudsey Badges.
